Anti-Shatter
Purpose. Impact-resistant laminated glazing, safe on breakage — entrance groups, shop windows, sloped and overhead glazing, areas with high pedestrian traffic.
Construction and properties. Laminated glass that, on breakage, retains fragments on the polymer interlayer (no sharp loose shards). Soft-body impact resistance classes (45 kg bag): CM1 (drop height 190 mm), CM2 (450 mm), CM3 (1200 mm), CM4 (2000 mm). Hard-body impact resistance classes — P1A…P5A.
Governing standards. GOST 30826-2014; for tempered monolithic glass with safe breakage — GOST 30698-2014 (complies with Russian national standards, mandatory for the Russian market).
Points to note. The CM class is determined by the construction of the whole product, not by a single pane thickness. For safety glazing in barriers, laminated glass of class CM2–CM4 is used.
