Alpha Triplex
Purpose. Architectural laminated glass for stair balustrades, canopies, awnings and transparent outdoor structures. Built on low-iron glass with EVA interlayers, resistant to moisture and ultraviolet light.
Construction and properties.
• Outdoor durability — the EVA interlayer does not cloud or delaminate from moisture and UV exposure (unlike standard PVB).
• Enhanced clarity — low-iron glass, a clean appearance without a green tint.
• Safety — on breakage, fragments are retained by the interlayer.
• Applications — balustrades, canopies, awnings, roof and facade glazing.
Governing standards. Laminated glass — GOST 30826-2014; loads and residual load-bearing capacity — calculated per SP 20.13330; enclosure glazing — GOST R 56926-2016 (complies with Russian national standards, mandatory for the Russian market).
Points to note. EVA interlayers are preferable to PVB for outdoor structures exposed directly to moisture and UV. The breakage-safety class and load-bearing capacity are confirmed for the specific product. The glass is invisible — it holds its shape and clarity for years.
