Alpha Unit

Purpose. UNIALGLASS's flagship architectural insulating glass unit, combining pure light, thermal insulation, noise reduction and safety in a single construction. Built on low-iron glass with true colour rendering: interiors and facades are seen in natural colours, without the greenish tint of ordinary glass.

Construction and properties.

• Colour rendering and clarity — low-iron glass, maximum light transmittance without a green tint.
• Energy efficiency — multifunctional glass, argon-filled cavities, Chromatech Ultra warm-edge spacer (no cold bridges or edge condensation).
• Sound insulation — asymmetric IGU formula for protection against urban noise.
• Fire and burglar protection — integration of fire-resistant and laminated burglar-resistant glass into a single unit.

Governing standards. Insulating glass units — GOST 24866-2014; thermal resistance — GOST 26602.1; sound insulation — GOST 26602.3; laminated glass — GOST 30826-2014; fire-rated glazing — GOST 30247.4—2022 (complies with Russian national standards, mandatory for the Russian market).

Points to note. The specific unit formula (thicknesses, function set, protection class) is tailored to the project. Low-iron glass is essential for true colour rendering in curtain-wall and facade structures. The glass is invisible — climate control, quiet and safety do the work.
